The foundation of the Ultraboost 5 is the new generation of the Light BOOST V2 midsole. This foam is adidas's lightest material to date, while maintaining its legendary energy return. The result is a feeling as if the shoe gently pushes you forward with every step, significantly reducing foot fatigue.
The upper is made of seamless PRIMEKNIT that resembles a sock. It perfectly wraps around the foot, adapting to its shape during movement while offering excellent breathability. Thanks to the wider toe box, this model also offers plenty of room for your toes, increasing comfort during longer runs.
Integrated into the midsole is a redesigned Torsion System, which ensures a smooth heel-to-toe transition and prevents unwanted twisting of the foot. Despite the high cushioning stack (up to 39 mm under the heel), the shoe feels very stable and secure on the road.
As with previous generations, adidas relies on a premium Continental™ rubber outsole. This provides uncompromising traction on dry and wet asphalt and guarantees massive durability against wear, meaning the sneakers will last a really long time.
The adidas Ultraboost 5 stays true to its reputation and pushes it a bit further. They are the ideal sneakers for runners looking for maximum comfort for recovery runs, building volume at a slower pace, but thanks to their iconic design, they are also perfect for all-day walking around the city (athleisure). If comfort is your top priority, the Ultraboost 5 will not disappoint.
